The military aid of the Netherlands to Ukraine has reached almost 1 billion euros

The total cost of military aid provided by the Netherlands to Ukraine reached 987 million euros, Defense Minister Kaisa Ollongren said.

This is reported by the NL Times.

The Netherlands aid includes €697 million for equipment, a €120 million military aid package and a €100 million contribution to the International Fund for Ukraine.

In addition, the Netherlands will also contribute 25 million euros to the NATO fund for military support of the war-torn country. This fund is intended to pay for fuel, clothing and medicine.

According to Ollongren, the large amount shows "how important it is to help Ukraine so that it does not lose the war against Russia." The minister noted that with the help of partners, Ukraine should hold out this winter, despite Russian attacks on the country's energy system.
