You can now change your registration address or deregister as an IDP online in the "Action" program. This was announced by the Ministry of Digital Transformation on Facebook.
"New automatic services for IDPs in Diya. It is now possible to change the place of residence of an IDP and cancel the status online," the message reads.
As you know, even at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, they added the possibility to obtain a certificate of an IDP and issue payments. More than 1.4 million Ukrainians used this service. Starting today, two more new automatic services for immigrants are available in the "Diya" application:
change of place of registration (if you moved to another city of Ukraine);
cancellation of IDP status (if returned home).
It is indicated that both services are automatic. This means that the process takes place without the participation of a civil servant, and you no longer need to wait for his decision.
The Ministry added that services can be used by Ukrainians who have a certificate of IDPs from "Dia". To change the place of registration of an IDP, it is necessary to physically be at the place of temporary residence to confirm geolocation.
