The Kremlin's cynical statement: The end of the war could be tomorrow

The Kremlin believes that the war they started against Ukraine could "end tomorrow." They cynically claim that it depends on President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

This was stated by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmytro Peskov, quoted by "RIA Novosti".

"Here you can reason until you're blue in the face. Zelenskiy knows when it can all end. It can end tomorrow if he wants to," Peskov said.

At the same time, he said that there is no question of the so-called "accession" of new territories to Russia.

"At least there were no statements on this matter, but there is still a lot of work to be done on the liberation of territories - there are still occupied territories in a number of new regions of Russia that must be liberated," Peskov cynically added.
