Restoration of water supply to Mykolaiv will be delayed due to damage to the pumping station

During the rocket attack, the Russian occupiers damaged the pumping station of the Mykolaivvodokanal utility company, located in the Kherson region. Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevich reported this on the Telegram channel.

The mayor warns the residents of Mykolaiv that the municipal utilities are forced to supply technical water from the Buzki estuary for an indefinite period of time.

"Yes, we were all waiting for the de-occupation of Kherson and other temporarily seized lands of ours. After that, the water pipeline was promptly repaired, literally a week later. But we are dealing with real terrorists, powerless against our military, and therefore fighting with the civilian population," he emphasized Senkevich .

On Saturday, November 26, it became known that energy workers restored the high-voltage line in the de-occupied territory. This made it possible to establish a water supply in Mykolaiv, however, due to rocket fire, the city once again had a problem with drinking water.

Sienkovych assured that the services continue to repair networks destroyed by salt water. As soon as the security situation allows to resume repair work at the pumping station itself, the mayor promised to "return drinking water to Nikolaev".
