Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak asked the German government to transfer Patriot batteries offered by Poland to Ukraine. Batteries can be placed near the western border.
Mariusz Blaszczak wrote about it on Twitter.
"After further Russian missile attacks, I asked Germany that the Patriot batteries offered to Poland be transferred to Ukraine and placed on the western border. This will save Ukraine from further casualties and blackouts and increase security on our eastern border," Blaszczak wrote.
Yaroslav Kaczynski, the head of the ruling "Law and Justice" party, made such a statement about the need to transfer the Patriot air defense system to Ukraine.
