NATO countries bordering Ukraine should think about a new air defense system, - the head of the Foreign Ministry of Latvia

The recent fall of a missile in Poland was another confirmation that NATO countries, especially those bordering Ukraine, should think about additional air defense.

This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Edgars Rinkevičs, Delfi reports.

He noted that in the draft government declaration, in particular, the issue of air defense was raised - additional funds were allocated for this.

Rinkevichs also added that the investigation into the fall of the rocket in Przewoduwa is still ongoing. Currently there is no new information.

At the same time, it is clear that if there had been no Russian invasion of Ukraine, such an incident would not have happened.
