Lithuania will hand Ukraine ammunition for the 155-mm artillery, which is desperately needed at the front. Also, during the month, the contract with manufacturers of winter clothing for Ukrainian soldiers will be fulfilled.

 "Regarding the nearest military support, it has already been decided - ammunition will be transferred for the 155-mm artillery, which is desperately needed at the front. The Defense Resources Agency of the Ministry of Defense has signed contracts with manufacturers to restore these stocks. There will be more support, but we cannot announce everything," the minister said .

 During the month, the contract with manufacturers of winter clothing for the Armed Forces will be executed. The Minister of Defense of Lithuania announced the signing of contracts for 2023 with a Lithuanian business that produces the military equipment Ukraine needs. According to him, if the producers are ready and able to increase their production potential.

 "Lithuania will also contribute to the international fund for financing heavy armored vehicles, their production or modernization and acquisition. So, if anything, there will be tanks handed over to Ukrainians at our expense," added Anusauskas.

 The minister also said that Lithuania will expand military training courses for Ukrainians to 1,500 soldiers. This will not take into account current military personnel undergoing training.

 We will remind that Lithuania will not transfer NASAMS complexes to Ukraine, but will provide projectiles for PzH 2000.

 Earlier it became known that Lithuania handed Ukraine 12 M113 armored personnel carriers, 10 of which are equipped with mortars.
