Already at the beginning of winter, the Armed Forces of Ukraine can return the temporarily occupied Crimea. The war between Ukraine and Russia may end by the end of spring. Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Gavrylov emphasized this in an interview with Sky News.
Gavrilov noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will regain control of Crimea probably by the end of December.
Commenting on the prospects of peace talks with the Kremlin, the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense said that they will take place only after Russia completely leaves the territory of Ukraine, in particular the territory of Crimea and parts of the east of the country.
"There is a decision within the society in Ukraine that we are going to the end. It doesn't matter what scenario is on the table. People have paid a lot of blood, a lot of effort for what we have already achieved, and everyone knows that any delay or frozen conflict - this is just a continuation of this war against the existence of Ukraine as a nation," Gavrylov said.
