Ukraine wants immediate access to the Polish explosion site

Ukraine wants "immediate access" to the site of the explosion in Poland and is ready to provide its partners with evidence of "Russian traces", the secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine said. This is stated by Sky News.

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the country wants to study the incident together with its partners on Tuesday and wants to see the information on the basis of which the allies draw conclusions.

The site of the explosion, the village of Pshevodov, is approximately four miles west of the Ukrainian border.

According to preliminary data, the missile that hit Poland was fired by Ukrainian forces at an approaching Russian missile.

And NATO's secretary general said that the explosion was probably caused by a Ukrainian air defense missile, but that Russia was ultimately responsible because it started the war.

Meanwhile, Poland said it could not invoke NATO's Article 4, which provides for consultations between allies in the event of a security threat.
