The Russians are conducting offensive operations in Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military attacked four enemy air defense positions. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy is trying to keep the temporarily captured territories, concentrates efforts on restraining the actions of the defense forces from certain directions. Conducts offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiiv and Novopavliv directions.
The enemy is shelling units of the defense forces along the line of contact, carrying out fortification equipment of the lines in separate directions and conducting aerial reconnaissance. It continues to strike critical infrastructure and civilian homes, in violation of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of war.
The situation has not changed significantly on the Volyn and Polissky directions. The Republic of Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The enemy fired in other directions:
in the Seversky direction - from mortars and barrel artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Vilchyki in the Chernihiv region and Stara Huta, Sosnivka and Novovolodymyrivka in the Sumy region;
on the Slobozhansk direction - in the areas of the settlements of Gatishche, Kozacha Lopan, Ogurtsov and Strilka. The enemy used an attack UAV;
on the Kupyansk and Lymansk directions - from mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Verkhnokamianske, Spirne and Zvanivka settlements;
in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Soledar, Doslydnye, New York, Ozaryanivka and Kurdyumivka settlements;
in the Avdiiv direction - from tanks and artillery of various calibers, in the areas of Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Nevelske and Vodyane settlements;
in the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhya directions - for artillery of various types, in the areas of the settlements of Vugledar, Kamianske and Vremivka.
In the South Buz region, more than 35 settlements along the contact line were hit by fire. In addition, the enemy continued to conduct aerial reconnaissance, actively involving UAVs. Made more than 30 sorties.
During the day, the aviation of the defense forces struck the enemy 12 times. 8 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 4 positions of the enemy's air defense equipment, were defeated.
Units of missile troops and artillery of the defense forces hit three areas of concentration of manpower, two areas of accumulation of weapons and military equipment, two ammunition warehouses and other important military objects of the Russian occupiers.
