The Minister of Defense of Turkey talked with Reznikov and Kubrakov: it was about the shipment of grain from Ukraine

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar held talks with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksiy Reznikov and Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov. The parties discussed the state of affairs with the shipment of Ukrainian grain. This is reported by the website of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey.

"It is very important to continue the grain initiative, which has made a significant contribution to solving the global food crisis by safely sending approximately 10 million tons of grain to those in need. All problems can be solved through cooperation and dialogue," Akar said after the talks.

He noted that the Black Sea grain corridor is much faster and more convenient for transporting grain than the land corridor. According to the minister, the shipment of grain is a "purely human activity" and should be separated from conflict conditions.

Akar said that Turkey will continue to contribute to ensuring peace in the region and providing humanitarian assistance at all levels.
