Passports of Ukrainian citizens whose validity expired during the period of martial law remain valid, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories reports with reference to the government's decision.
"Thus, passports of citizens of Ukraine in the form of a card, the terms of validity of which expired during the war, and passports of the 1994 model, in which photos are not pasted upon reaching the age of 25 or 45 (if the term of pasting the photo came during the period of martial law ) ), are documents certifying identity and confirming Ukrainian citizenship," the ministry's press service reported.
It is noted that the owners of such documents are obliged to exchange them within 30 days from the moment of termination or cancellation of martial law in Ukraine.
