The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two ammunition depots of the Russian occupiers, and also shot down a Ka-52 "Alligator" and a Su-25 attack aircraft. This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrates its efforts on restraining the actions of the defense forces in certain directions, while at the same time it does not stop offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiiv directions.
The enemy is shelling the positions of our troops along the contact line, carrying out fortification equipment of the positions in separate directions, in particular, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, actively conducting aerial reconnaissance.
Violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war, it continues to strike critical infrastructure and civilian homes.
The situation remains unchanged on the Volyn and Polissky directions. The Republic of Belarus continues to support the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, providing its territory, airspace and infrastructure. The threat of launching missile and air strikes, including the involvement of attack UAVs, remains.
The enemy fired in other directions:
in the Slobozhansk direction - from the territory of the Russian Federation, using different types of artillery, in the areas of Chuhunivka, Strilka, Dvorichna, Kamianka, Chervone, Staritsa settlements;
in the Kupyansk direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Berestov, Kislivka and Figolovka settlements;
in the Lyman direction - from tanks and artillery of various calibers, in the areas of Makiivka, Terny, Torske, Yampolivka, Spirne, Nevske and Zarichne settlements;
in the Bakhmut direction - from tanks, mortars, barrel and rocket artillery, in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Kramatorsk, Soledar and Yakivlia settlements;
in the Avdiivka direction, the enemy inflicted fire losses from mortars, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, and Pervomaisky.
On the Novopavlivsky and Zaporizhzhya directions, the enemy launched artillery fire in the Biloghirya, Vremivka, Zaliznychny, Novopol, Novosilka, Olhovsky and Orekhov districts.
More than 15 settlements near the contact line were affected by fire in the South Buz region.
In the previous days, the destruction of two ammunition warehouses and a pontoon crossing with enemy military equipment in the Kherson region was confirmed.
Aviation of the defense forces, of the current day, made 14 strikes on areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the enemy. During the day, air defense units shot down an enemy helicopter and a plane - according to preliminary information, a Ka-52 "Alligator" and a Su-25 attack aircraft.
