During his visit to Ukraine on Tuesday, October 25, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier spent an hour and a half in the bomb shelter in Koryukivka, Chernihiv region. This was reported on Twitter by a journalist of the German radio station ARD.

"Federal President Steinmeier is in Ukraine for the first time since the beginning of the war. But his plans are hindered by an air alert. He has to seek shelter in a bomb shelter for 1.5 hours," she wrote.

According to Steinmeier's press secretary Serstin Hammelin, he spoke with the residents of Koryukivka, who were in the same shelter as the President of Germany.

"We come across it almost every day!" - The women told Steinmeier, admitting that they often simply ignore the alarm signal.
