The first parliamentary summit of the International Crimean Platform will be the next step on the way to the de-occupation of the peninsula, the sad fate of which Russia wants to reproduce in other territories of Ukraine.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandrokovic, in an address to the participants of the discussion program within the framework of the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform, Ukrinform reports.
"Croatia remains a friend and helper of Ukraine - we provide political, humanitarian, technical and other assistance. That is why I did not doubt for a second when my colleague Speaker Stefanchuk suggested organizing a joint event - the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform in Zagreb... Tomorrow we will take the next step forward, in particular at the government level, with the help of a new dimension of the Crimean platform," said Jandrokovych.
The speaker of the Croatian parliament noted that the Crimean platform has become a good tool for pressure on the Russian Federation, and thanks to the involvement of an expert environment, the international community became aware of numerous problems related to the Russian occupation of Crimea, in particular, violations of people's rights, political persecution, a difficult situation Crimean Tatars
Yandrokovich noted that the aggressor did not stop only at the attempt to annex Crimea, his appetites grew even more. In this context, he noted that Russia wants to reproduce the sad fate of Crimea and other territories of Ukraine.
As reported, the First Parliamentary Summit of the International Crimean Platform will be held in Zagreb on October 24-25.
