Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov discussed Russia's false statement about the "dirty bomb" with his foreign colleagues. Ukraine is open for monitoring missions.

Reznikov's Twitter account writes about it.

"I spoke with the Ministers of Defense of France - Sebastian Lecornu, of Turkey - Hulusi Akar, and of Britain - Ben Wallace. Colleagues informed me about negotiations with the Minister of Defense of Russia (Sergiy Shoigu, Minister of Defense of Russia, - ed.). I answered all the fake accusations of Russia. This is an act of nuclear blackmail by Russia. I want to repeat: Ukraine is open to any monitoring mission," Reznikov wrote.

 Shoigu's "dirty bomb".

On October 23, Shoigu held telephone conversations with colleagues from France, Turkey, Britain, and the United States, during which he told them about Ukraine's alleged preparation for a "provocation" using some kind of "dirty bomb."

According to ISW, in this way the Russian Defense Minister tried to slow down or stop Western military aid to Ukraine, as well as to weaken NATO.

In the end, the United States, Great Britain and France were not convinced by Shoigu's story, after which they condemned him for trying to slander Kyiv.
