The Russian language should disappear from the Ukrainian territory altogether - Danilov

The Russian language should disappear from the territory of Ukraine in general as an element of hostile propaganda and brainwashing of the Ukrainian population. And who is against - let him go to the Russian swamps and croak in Russian there. Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, stated this on the air of the national telethon "Yedini Novyni". He once again voiced his opinion that Ukrainian and English should be mandatory languages in Ukraine.

"The Russian language must disappear from our territory altogether, as an element of hostile propaganda and brainwashing of our population... English is mandatory, our native language is mandatory. And it is very dangerous to plant these Russian narratives here - as if we have to understand them, we have to understand something. Look: we don't need anything from them, let them stay away from us, let them go to their swamps and croak in their Russian language," Danilov said.

He also informed that at a meeting with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, a decision was made to switch the state TV channel FreeDom from Russian to English.

"The decision was made that it is necessary to start with the language of international communication - English. And the rest of the languages will be studied. This issue was discussed at a meeting in the president's office today," the secretary of the NSDC said.
