The Parliament of Estonia declared Russia a state sponsor of terrorism

The Parliament of Estonia approved a statement condemning the annexation of the territory of Ukraine and declaring the Russian regime a terrorist. The statement was supported by 88 members of parliament. The statement states that Estonia will never recognize the violation of Ukraine's territorial integrity as a result of aggression and the holding of fake referendums.

"Supporting the call of the Parliament of Ukraine to states and international organizations, the Riigikogu declares the Russian regime a terrorist, and the Russian Federation a state sponsor of terrorism, whose actions must be jointly repelled. The Riigikogu calls on the international community to adopt similar declarations," it is reported.

The parliament also considers it necessary to recognize the armed forces of the so-called DPR and LPR created by the Russian Federation and the private military company Wagner as terrorist organizations. In addition, the parliament condemns the announcement and conduct of mobilization by the Russian regime.

According to the statement, the Parliament of Estonia supports the demand to deprive Russia of the status of a permanent member of the UN Security Council, and also calls for the introduction of new sanctions against the Russian Federation and an increase in the amount of military aid to Ukraine.

It should be noted that this is the fourth statement adopted this year by the Parliament of Estonia with the aim of condemning the actions of the Russian Federation and supporting Ukraine.
