NEC "Ukrenergo" reported about another Russian attack on critical infrastructure, as a result of which the energy infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region was heavily damaged.
"Today, the enemy carried out another barbaric attack on critical infrastructure. As a result, an energy infrastructure facility in the Kyiv region suffered severe destruction. Specialists of NEC "Ukrenergo" are already working to restore the reliability of energy supply to Kyiv and the central region," said a message on Facebook.
The "Ukrenergo" dispatch center warns about the possible use of emergency shutdown schedules.
"We ask consumers to consume electricity carefully, especially from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.! Do not use energy-consuming electrical appliances, turn off unnecessary lighting, postpone washing to the night hours. Such measures give our specialists the opportunity to stabilize the situation faster and carry out the necessary restoration work," they urged in "Ukrenergo".
