This week, a meeting of NATO defense ministers and a meeting in the Rammstein format will be held in Brussels, in which representatives of defense departments from 50 countries will take part.
The meeting of the ministers of the Alliance will take place on October 12-13 at the NATO headquarters, in which, in particular, the Minister of Defense of the United States Lloyd Austin will take part, according to the website of the Pentagon. It will be the first meeting since the Madrid NATO summit and the first to be joined by Finland and Sweden as invited guests.
A personal meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine will be held on October 12. Pentagon chief and chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, will join defense ministers and defense chiefs from nearly 50 countries around the world. They will discuss Russia's war in Ukraine and further close coordination to provide the Ukrainian people with the means necessary to defend their sovereign territory.
In addition, this will be the sixth meeting and the fourth face-to-face meeting since the formation of the international group in April.
