Poland's ambassador to Ukraine, Bartosz Cihotski, believes that the Russian Federation launched a new phase of the war in Ukraine with massive missile strikes on October 10, the strategic goal of which remains unchanged.
He said this in an interview with RMF FM.
"First of all, Ukrainians first realize that this is not a war for secession of this or that city. The goal is to destroy the Ukrainian state, bring it to its knees, seize power, install puppets, and what started yesterday is a new phase of the war, it new from a tactical point of view, but not strategic from the point of view of Ukrainians," said Tsihotskyi.
According to the ambassador, Putin's nuclear threats should be taken seriously.
"Today, the international community should send an unequivocal signal to Russia that this is a trait that cannot be crossed, and it should not be influenced by what a random passer-by thinks about it," the Polish diplomat added.
