Russia allegedly struck Ukrainian energy, military management, and communications facilities with "high-precision weapons."
This was stated by Russian President Putin.
"At the proposal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and according to the plan of the General Staff of Russia, a massive strike was carried out with high-precision long-range air, sea and land-based weapons on energy, military management and communication facilities of Ukraine," Putin said.
He also threatened that in the event of "continuation of terrorist attacks on the "territory of the Russian Federation", the responses from the aggressor country will allegedly be harsh and "in terms of scale, will correspond to the level of threats" created for Russia.
