The US Embassy in Ukraine has issued an appeal for Americans in Ukraine to leave the country.
"Russia has launched strikes against Ukrainian civilian and government infrastructure in Kyiv and elsewhere. The ongoing Russian strikes in Ukraine pose an immediate threat to the civilian population and infrastructure. The Embassy urges US citizens on the ground to shelter in place and immediately leave Ukraine by ground transportation, when it is safe to do so," the ad said.
As reported, after the missile strikes on the morning of October 10, US Ambassador Bridget Brink stated that the Russian Federation is intensifying attacks against the civilian population.
