The exhumation of the bodies of the dead from the mass burial site in Izyum is ongoing. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Oleg Oleg Synegubov and added that 146 bodies were exhumed during this time.
"During this time, 146 bodies were exhumed, the vast majority of which are civilians, including 2 children. Some of the dead have signs of violent death, there are bodies with tied hands and traces of torture. Mine and explosive injuries were also found in the dead , shrapnel and stab wounds," the head of the Regional State Administration wrote in Telegram.
Synegubov also noted that all the bodies are headed for a forensic medical examination to determine the final cause of death.
"The whole world should know about the terrible crimes of the Russian occupiers in Kharkiv Oblast. And the evidence we collected will definitely be used in international courts to punish war criminals!" - he summarized.
