The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, signed a decree on the formation of a number of rural, township and city military administrations in the settlements of the Kherson region, which are currently occupied by Russian troops.
The text of the relevant decree №658/2022 of September 19 "On the formation of military administrations of settlements in the Kherson region" is published on the website of the head of the Ukrainian state.
According to the decree, the Askania-Nova, Velikolepetyska, Verkhnyorogachytska, and Gornostaivska village military administrations, as well as the Zelenopid village military administration, are formed in the Kakhovsky district.
The Borozen and Milov villages, as well as the Kaliniv village military administration, are being created in Beryslav district. In the Skadovsky district - the Myrna village and Novomykolaiv village military administration. In the Genichesky district - the Novotroitsk settlement military administration.
In the Kherson district, the Velikokopaniv, Stanislav, and Yuvileyna village military administrations, as well as the Kherson city military administration, are being established.
"The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Kherson Regional State Administration to carry out, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Legal Regime of Martial Law", measures related to the formation of military administrations... The decree enters into force from the day of its publication," the text of the decree reads.
