The Kremlin's first official comment on the allegations of mass murders in Izyum has appeared. There they called these connections "lies". This was announced by the official representative of the Kremlin, Dmytro Peskov.
"Kyiv is spreading the same scenario in Izyum as with the provocation in Buch, this is a lie - and, of course, we will defend the truth in this whole story," Peskov said.
We will remind, Volodymyr Zelenskiy accused Russia of mass murders in Izyum. According to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, the bodies of hundreds of people were found in the city and its surroundings. Some with traces of torture.
Russia has not officially commented on these accusations before.
