The Sambo Federation of Ukraine will boycott the European Championship because of the decision to admit representatives of Russia and Belarus to the tournament. This is reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
"Despite the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee to suspend athletes from the above-mentioned countries from participating in international competitions, the International Sambo Federation allowed the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation to compete in a neutral status under the FIAS flag," the message says.
