Ukraine will join the EU roaming zone - Von der Leyen

The head of the European Commission, Ursula Von der Leyen, said that Ukraine will join the EU roaming zone. She announced this in her annual State of the Union address to the European Parliament.

"We will introduce Ukraine into our European free roaming zone. It's time to do it," she said.

It should be noted that following the results of the meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Council on September 5, the EU emphasized its obligation to study the possibilities of a long-term agreement on the cancellation of roaming charges between the EU and Ukraine.
