Russia must be held accountable for its attacks on Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a post on X, responding to a Russian strike on the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv.
According to the Ukrainian president, a rescue operation is underway at the site. Russian forces also targeted a pharmaceutical company and petrol stations in Kyiv, as well as a business centre in Dnipro.
“A rescue operation is underway at the site. Today, there were also strikes on a pharmaceutical company and petrol stations in Kyiv, and on a business centre in Dnipro. Ukraine’s partners must understand from this terror and these attacks that supporting Ukraine truly means supporting human lives and upholding the principle that terror must never become the norm, anywhere. Russia must face real accountability for all of this,” Zelenskyy wrote on X.
According to the latest reports, at least one person was killed and five others were injured in the attack.
