The Ministry of Defense of Russia decided to embellish the events in the Kharkiv region and made public the information that the Russian armed formations carried out a "regrouping" of the units that were in Kupyansk and Izyum of the Kharkiv region.
"In order to achieve the stated goals of the special military operation to liberate Donbas, a decision was made to regroup Russian troops located in the Balaklia and Izyum districts to increase efforts in the Donetsk direction," the agency said in a statement.
In Russia, it is noted that for three days they carried out an "operation to collapse and organize the transfer of the Izyum-Balaklei group of troops" to the territory of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic".
"In the course of this operation, a number of diversionary and demonstration measures were carried out, indicating the actual actions of the troops," added the Russian Federation, commenting on another "gesture of goodwill."
