The Defense Forces of Ukraine repelled the enemy's offensive in six directions over the past 24 hours, while the Russian occupiers continued to launch air and missile strikes on civilian objects, according to operational information from the Russian invasion as of 6:00 p.m. Monday on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"In the Slavyansk direction... the occupiers tried to improve the tactical position in the Bogorodychny and Dolyna directions, they did not succeed, they retreated. In the Kramatorsk direction... the attempt to advance in the direction of the settlement of Ivano-Dariivka ended in failure for the occupiers - losses and escape. In the Bakhmut direction... "Ukrainian forces repulsed the enemy's offensive in the direction of the settlements of Soledar, Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmut and Kodema," the report says.
"In the Avdiivska direction... the enemy tried to advance in the Maryinka, Pervomaisky and Nevelskyi directions with offensive and assault actions, was repulsed and retreated. In the Novopavlivskyi direction... the occupiers unsuccessfully tried to advance in the direction of Pavlivka... In the South Buzkyi direction... the position near Potemkino suffered losses and retaliated," the General Staff said.
The Russian occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv, Slovyan, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Avdiiv, Novopavliv, Zaporizhzhya, and South Buz directions from tanks, combat vehicles, barrel and rocket artillery. In the Siverskiy direction, the enemy shelled the outskirts of Ukrainian border villages from Russian territory with barrel artillery.
The enemy used aviation for strikes near Hryhorivka and Tetyanivka in the Kramatorsk direction, the city of Bakhmut and the village of Kodema in the Bakhmutsk direction, the village of Volodymyrivka in the Novopavlivsk direction, the village of Mali Shcherbaki in the Zaporizhzhya direction, Andriivka and Kalynyvka in the South Buz direction.
"The enemy continues intensive aerial reconnaissance with unmanned aerial vehicles. In the waters of the Black and Azov Seas, the enemy's naval group performs the task of maintaining a favorable operational regime and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea," the General Staff said.
