There will be no pseudo-referendum in the occupied areas of Lugansk region in the near future due to the unstable security situation in the occupied territories.
Serhii Gaidai, the head of the Lugansk RM, reported this on Telegram.
"Despite all the aspirations of the occupiers in the short term to hold "elections without a choice" in Lugansk region, this enchanting lawlessness will not happen in the near future. The reason is the excellent work of Ukrainian partisans," he wrote.
Gaidai said that the resistance movement has recently become much more active, thanks to which the Armed Forces of Ukraine are precisely destroying warehouses and bases of the occupiers.
"That's why the occupiers don't even have options where to store the ballots so they don't turn into ashes. In addition, the temporarily occupied territories are littered with pro-Ukrainian postcards with "greetings". The occupiers live in terror that they will soon come for them," added the head of the Lugansk RMA.
According to Gaidai, in the "administration" of the leader of the "LPR" there are constant meetings with the participation of Russians, who demand the militants to restore order in the "republic".
"However, all search efforts by pseudo-law enforcement officers to identify daredevils who, under the noses of the orcs, remind that Luhansk region is Ukraine and against the occupation, were unsuccessful. Therefore, the occupation authorities are forced to postpone the holding of the "referendum" indefinitely due to the unstable security situation." - he emphasized.
We will remind, on the night of August 25, Ukrainian partisans blew up the Russian headquarters near Melitopol. There, the occupiers were preparing for the so-called "referendum" and were handing out Russian passports.
