Western experts believe that high-ranking officials and members of Russian President Vladimir Putin's team are panicking and want to start negotiations to put an end to the war in Ukraine.

According to the Mirror, it has come to their attention that a high-ranking Kremlin official has secretly contacted the West to help put an edge to the invasion of Ukraine. It seems to have made it clear to the West that the Kremlin is panicked and desperately demands the cessation of the war.

This was stated in the report circulated by the Western special services. Senior officers and officials close to Putin are believed to be dismayed by the harsh foreign sanctions and the decline of the economy caused by the war. It has also been reported that some Kremlin figures are further disturbed by the more alarming risks associated with the combat operations at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Ukraine.
