At the moment, Ukraine's plans for a counterattack in the south are postponed due to a counterattack by Russian troops.
Military expert Oleh Zhdanov told RBC-Ukraine in a commentary.
According to him, offensive actions have already been launched in the Kherson direction and the Ukrainian army managed to liberate many settlements and move a little forward.
"But Russia has decided to conduct a counter-strike. Therefore, for now our plans are postponed. First we will need to repel this blow, and then according to the results we will see: or we will switch to deaf defense and positional battles, if our troops are exhausted, or, if we have reserves, it is likely that we will switch to a counteroffensive," - added Zhdanov.
