Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that all decisions on the loss or acquisition of Ukrainian citizenship are made on the basis of the current legislation.
"There is no speculation. We grant or revoke citizenship of our state on a regular basis. This is a constant process. And all this happens all the time within the framework of the current legislation," Zelensky said at a briefing with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausseda in Kyiv, answering a question about the motives of the signed decree on the termination of citizenship of Hennady Korban.
Earlier, MP Serhiy Vlasenko (Fatherland faction) made public a copy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decree on suspending Ukrainian citizenship for a number of people, including businessman Ihor Kolomoyskyy, Hennadiy Korban and MP Vadym Rabinovych.
