Slovenia will help Ukraine with demining equipment - Kuleba

Slovenia plans to provide Ukraine with equipment for civilian demining through the EU mechanism of civil protection. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at a briefing with the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

He noted that Slovenia has been helping Ukraine to strengthen its defense capabilities since the first days of the full-scale war and Ukraine is very grateful for these decisions, and that the meeting discussed further cooperation in this area.

"Today we had a substantive conversation about how Slovenia will send equipment through the EU's civil protection mechanism needed for civil demining in Ukraine," Dmitry Kuleba said.

According to him, Slovenia will also continue to provide humanitarian aid and take part in the reconstruction of Ukraine. In particular, there are already the first projects through the twin cities in Kharkiv - to restore public transport and restore the Kharkiv Institute of Prosthetics.

"We have experience in demining and this will be one of the issues of our humanitarian aid. We will also provide assistance to victims of war, assistance in the form of food and through other programs," noted Tanya Fayon.

Dmitry Kuleba noted that assistance to Slovenia is really big, considering the small size of this country.
