Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Krivyy Rih district of the Dnipropetrovsk region on Friday, where he held a meeting on the operational situation.
"The head of state heard a report from the commander of the operational grouping of troops "Kakhovka", Brigadier General Mikhail Drapaty on the situation in the region, the situation in military units and subunits," the press service of the presidential office reported.
"The president was informed about the construction of defensive structures, logistical support of troops. The head of the military administration of Kryvyi Rih Alexander Vilkul reported to the head of state on the functioning of the city under martial law, the interaction of utility companies with the military, the provision of Kryvyi Rih with food and medicines," the message said.
He also touched on humanitarian issues, in particular the creation of comfortable conditions and providing temporarily displaced people with everything they need. Separately, the meeting discussed the problems of functioning of heavy industry enterprises in Krivyy Rih under martial law and the creation of conditions for the restoration of their full work.
