The school year 2023 will end at the end of July. But it will only be possible to return to classes where children will be provided with safe conditions.

Interior Minister Denis Monastyrsky said that the school year will begin only in those institutions near which there are safe shelters in case of an air raid.

"Most schools have shelters that can be used. Now special local commissions are receiving recommendations developed by the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine. They are auditing the premises," Monastyrsky said.

He added that most parents are ready to send their children to schools: "They will be taken care of, and they will receive a proper education."

It should be noted that Ukraine has not abolished the norms on distance and family education for everyone who wants. Consequently, parents who are afraid to let their children go can transfer them to such forms of education and ensure that the child works on the school program at home.
