In Mariupol, occupants begin demolition of houses, people are actually evicted to the street - Advisor to the Mayor

In Mariupol, Donetsk region, Russian occupants begin demolition of houses from July 1, people are actually evicted to the street, said an adviser to Mariupol city mayor Petr Andryushchenko.

"Mariupol. From July 1, the occupation authorities begin demolition of houses. Because of the indignation of the people, the city collaborators are resorting to new fabrications. Such messages are posted on the houses preparing for eviction. "Maneuverable housing fund" is something that does not exist in Mariupol. In fact, it means - you will be evicted to the street, get your stuff out and go wherever you want. The main thing - it sounds nice," Andryushchenko wrote in Telegram.

The same situation, he said, with compensation for housing and repairs.

"In the district administrations of the occupants are already saying aloud that the private sector reconstructs itself. Regarding the high-rise buildings, promises are still being made, even despite the official objections of the Donetsk "authorities". Most Mariupol residents, because of the rains, have begun repairing the roofs of their buildings on their own. They unite by entrances, rent out valuables for cheap at pawnshops, use the money to buy materials and restore roofs. Pawnshops are controlled by collaborators, who continue to profit from the grief of the citizens", - said Andryushchenko.
