Zelensky fired the ambassadors to Georgia, Slovakia and Portugal

On 24 June, President Volodymyr Zelensky issued decrees on the dismissal of several Ukrainian ambassadors, in particular to Georgia, Slovakia and Portugal.

By his decrees, Zelensky dismissed ambassador to Georgia Ihor Dolhov, ambassador to Slovakia Iuriy Muska and ambassador to Portugal Inna Ognivets.

All three ambassadors had been in office for a long time and were appointed by the fifth president, Petro Poroshenko.

Inna Ognivets started in October 2015, Yuri Mushka - in November 2016, Igor Dolgov - in February 2017.

It is worth noting that Dolgov was recalled for consultations on March 1 because of Tbilisi's unfriendly steps amid Russia's military invasion.
