According to The Telegraph, Aiden Aslin, a British national and Ukrainian citizen who was captured in April and then sentenced to death by a "court" of the so-called "DNR," warned his family that his sentence could soon be carried out.
According to Aslin's grandmother Pamella Hall, 28, the family spoke to him on the phone and during the conversation he said his "time is running out."
"I have to believe what Aiden told us, that if the 'DNR' doesn't get any response (from UK representatives - ed.), they will execute him. I hope that's not true," Hall stated.
As a reminder, on June 9, the so-called "DNR supreme court" announced that it had "sentenced" to death two British citizens Aiden Aslin and Sean Pinner, as well as a Moroccan citizen Brahim Saadoun, who had defended Ukraine from Russian troops. All of them had joined the ranks of the AFU even before the full-scale Russian invasion began.
