Ukrainian defenders inflicted fire losses on units of the 11th Separate Motorized Rifle Regiment of the enemy's 1st Army Corps, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
"Near Gornoye, Berestovoye and Kodemy, Ukrainian troops once again inflicted losses on the enemy. After unsuccessful assault actions, the occupants withdrew. As a result of a fire attack by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, units of the 11th Detached Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 1st Army Corps suffered significant losses and withdrew from the area of combat operations to restore combat effectiveness," reads a report published in a Facebook summary on Saturday morning.
In the Volyn, Polessk and Seversk directions the situation is unchanged.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of Kozachya Lopan, Petrovka, Korobochkino and Prishib settlements.
In the Slavyansk direction the occupants carried out systematic artillery fire in the areas of Dubrovno, Dolina, Krasnopolye, Grushuvakha and Adamovka settlements, in addition the enemy tried to resume assault actions in the area of Krasnopolye settlement, the fighting is continuing.
In the Donetsk direction the aggressor continues to concentrate its main efforts in the Severodonetsk and Bakhmut directions.
In the Liman direction the enemy carried out artillery shelling of the Sidorovoye and Mayakovo districts.
In the Severodonetsk direction, the aggressor continues firing barrel artillery and multiple rocket launchers at Ukrainian troop positions and civilian infrastructure near Lysychansk, Metelkino, Ustinovka and Voronovoye.
"Fighting for the city of Severodonetsk continues. In order to improve the tactical situation, the enemy units tried to conduct assault actions outside the city, with no success," the report noted.
In the Bakhmut direction, the occupants fired artillery of various calibers at civilian infrastructure in the areas of Zolote, Spirnoe, Berestovo, Soledar, Klinove and Troitske.
In the Avdiivka, Kurakhivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions the aggressor shelled civilian infrastructure with artillery and rocket artillery in the areas of Kamianka, Avdiivka, Oprosnoye, Vladimirovka, Novoselka and Scherbaki.
In the South Bug direction, the occupants fired artillery, mortars and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of Shirokoe, Blagodatne, Shevchenkovo, Pribuzhske and Topolinoe settlements in order to deter Ukrainian troops. In addition, the aggressor is trying to improve the engineering equipment of advanced positions and to mine dangerous areas along the Ingulets River.
