Bridges blown up and regular fighting: what is the situation in Severodonetsk today

The Russian occupiers destroyed three bridges across the Seversky Donets, further complicating logistics. However, Severodonetsk has not lost its connection to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

Alexander Struk, head of the Severodonetsk city military-civil administration, reports this.

"The Russians are trying to storm the city from several directions. The Ukrainian military controls the industrial zone and from time to time activities are carried out to drive the enemy out of the city center. The Russians are paving the road with the corpses of their own soldiers. Due to the blowing up of bridges, logistics have become complicated, but ways of communication with Severodonetsk remain," Struk noted.

The humanitarian situation in the city is now critical. Back at the beginning of the street battles there were about 10 thousand civilians in the city, but their number is unknown today.
