The so-called "DPR Supreme Court" on Thursday "sentenced" to death British nationals Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin and Moroccan Saadoun Brahim, who fought in the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Russian media reported this on Thursday.
"Based on the cumulative offenses, it is final to impose the death penalty on Aslin Aiden, Pinner Sean and Saadoun Brahim as punishment," the so-called "verdict" reads.
A Russian newspaper notes that the foreign fighters have allegedly "pleaded guilty" to "actions aimed at the violent seizure of power. Aslin was also accused of "receiving training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities.
