Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says the situation at the front near Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, is difficult, but noted that the Ukrainian military is holding it.
"As for the situation at the front. We have a difficult situation in the east, the situation in the Severodonetsk (direction). You know, we are holding the situation, exactly holding the situation. There are more of them (occupants). They are more powerful, but nevertheless, I think that we have every chance to fight in this direction," Zelensky told reporters on Monday, writes Obozrevatel.
In the Kharkiv direction, according to him, "more positive," Ukrainian settlements are gradually being liberated there.
At the same time, in the Zaporizhzhia region, the situation is "most threatening" because of the occupiers' intentions to occupy the regional center, the president stressed.
"Probably in other directions the situation, we see, is better," Zelensky added.
