Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russian occupants have killed 32 journalists in Ukraine. This was announced by Minister of Culture and Information Policy Alexander Tkachenko.
"This year's Journalists' Day has a special taste of bitterness. The 4th month of a full-scale war - and we lost 32 journalists... In 8 years of war we lost even more. Eternal memory to our fighters on the frontline of information. All of the journalists today who work 24/7 - you are heroes. We are fighting a hybrid war, the first of its magnitude in the history of the world, and your role today is invaluable. So is your responsibility, your dedication, tenacity and courage," Tkachenko wrote.
