The enemy conducts diversionary actions in Avdiivka and Kurakhivka directions, and in Liman it tries to take control of part of the Seversky Donets River, the press center of the General Staff of Ukraine reported.
"In the Avdiivka and Kurakhivka directions the enemy conducts restraining and diversionary actions. In the Liman direction, near the settlement of Stary Karavan, the occupants are trying to take control of a section of the left bank of the Seversky Donets River," the report said on Saturday morning.
As noted, the main efforts are concentrated in the Severodonetsk and Bakhmut directions.
With the support of artillery, the enemy is conducting assault actions in the settlement of Severodonetsk, strengthened the grouping at the expense of the mobilization reserve of the 2nd Army Corps, fighting continues in the city.
At the same time, the enemy suffered losses in the Slavyansk and Bakhmut directions. In particular, it carried out artillery shelling of Grushuvakha, Tatyanivka and Dibrovno settlements. Conducted an assault in the direction of Bogorodichnoye, but had no success. Conducted unsuccessful offensive in the direction of Vernopolya settlement. The enemy retreated in the direction of Bakhmutsky.
In the Seversk direction the enemy did not perform active operations. In order to strengthen certain sections of the border and constrain the actions of our troops, the enemy continues to hold units of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions.
Fighting continues in the Slobozhansky direction. A column of equipment with fuel and ammunition is observed moving in the direction of Shipovato settlement. In the opposite direction the evacuation of damaged weapons and military equipment (up to 100 items) is carried out.
In the Kharkiv direction, the main efforts of the occupants are focused on maintaining the occupied lines. Intensive firing on the units of the Defense Forces in the areas of Glubokoye, Russkie Tishki, Stary Saltov and Cherkasskie Tishki continues. The enemy launched a rocket attack on a transport infrastructure facility near the village of Mokhnach.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is shelling the positions of our troops along the entire line of contact with mortars, barrel and rocket artillery. It uses operational and tactical and army aviation.
The occupants carried out an offensive in the direction of the village of Ustinovka, with no success.
The General Staff notes the low rate of advance of enemy units during combat operations in the Donetsk direction due to the physical exhaustion of personnel and low moral and psychological state.
In the Yuzhnobuzhskoe direction, the enemy conducts a position defense and tries to produce a firing squad of our units.
"The invaders are afraid of the resistance of the local population, increasing in particular in the Kherson region. The Kafir leadership is moving with a large number of guards, in armored vests, in armored cars. Local residents continue to put up total resistance," the headquarters noted.
And in the Bessarabian direction, as well as in the Black Sea and Azov Sea operational zones the situation without significant changes.
In addition, there are three carriers of sea-launched cruise missiles of the Kalibr type in readiness to use missile weapons in the Black Sea.
