More than 720 children affected in Ukraine by Russia's full-scale armed aggression - Office of the Prosecutor General

As of June 4, 2022, the official number of children killed as a result of Russian aggression remained unchanged at 261, the number of wounded increased to 465, according to the press service of the Office of the Attorney General.

"More than 726 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of June 34, 2022, the official number of child victims has not changed during the day - 261. The number of wounded has increased - 465", - said in a message on Facebook.

Most children were injured in Donetsk region - 187, Kyiv region - 116, Kharkiv region - 112, Chernihiv region - 68, Lugansk region - 52, Kherson region - 52, Mykolaiv region - 47, Zaporizhzhia region - 29, Sumy region - 17, in Kyiv - 16, Zhitomyr region - 15. 

These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active combat operations, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

"On June 2, Russian Army soldiers fired artillery at the village of Maryanskoye in the Krivoy Rog district of the Dnipropetrovsk region. A woman and her two children, aged 10 and 7, were wounded," the report said.

Due to constant bombardment and shelling by the Russian Armed Forces of Ukrainian towns and villages, 1,938 educational institutions were damaged, 182 of which were completely destroyed.
