The Cabinet of Ministers proposed to the Verkhovna Rada to introduce a moratorium on the increase of tariffs for heating, hot water and gas. The period of validity - the period of martial law and six months after. This is stated in the bill #7427.
"The bill defines a set of measures aimed at introducing a moratorium on raising prices and tariffs in the natural gas market and in the heating sector during martial law throughout Ukraine and within six months after its termination or cancellation," the explanatory note says.
The moratorium will concern:
tariffs for natural gas distribution services;
Tariffs for heat energy (its production, transportation and supply) and heat energy supply services;
Tariffs for hot water supply;
Gas prices for household consumers.
