The main firepower of the Russian forces is concentrated in a small sector of the Luhansk region. At the same time, most of Severodonetsk is probably now captured.

This was reported on Twitter by the UK Ministry of Defense.

"Russian ground operations remain narrowly focused and all firepower is concentrated in a small sector of the Luhansk region. On May 30-31, fighting in the streets of Severodonetsk intensified, with Russian forces moving ever closer to the center of the city. More than half of the city is probably now occupied by Russian forces, including Chechen fighters," the report said.

Meanwhile, according to Sergei Gaidai, head of the Luhansk RSA, on Telegram, occupation troops have entered the center of Severodonetsk, Luhansk Region. The enemy is gaining a foothold in the central areas, while continuing to destroy residential houses and industrial facilities.

"At 18:55 they attacked the Azot association from a plane, resulting in the release of toxic substances. In the afternoon, the enemy carried out an artillery shelling of the Proletary plant in Lysychansk - damage to several premises was recorded. The cynical destruction of the housing stock continues," Gaidai wrote.

Yesterday, the occupants carried out assault actions in the northern, southern and eastern districts of Severodonetsk.

British intelligence also notes that outside of Donbas, Russia continues to launch long-range missile strikes on infrastructure throughout Ukraine.
